Boosting Student Achievement, Islamic Religious Education Program of FITK UIN Malang Intensifies Coaching
PAI FITK UIN Malang - Achievement never betrays its process, because of continuous practice (Istiqamah). Therefore, the Islamic Religious Education Program of FITK UIN Malang organized the launching of student achievement coaching to prepare the greatest cadres to be ready to join in Olympiad events or competitions at national and international levels. This activity was organized in a flexible, relaxed, and joyful manner in the ICLC (international Cyber Learning Class) room of the Microteaching Building, 1st floor on Tuesday (2/4/2024)

Students who join in mentor coaching come from the second and fourth semesters. This nursery is quite good because it regenerates the seniors who have graduated from college. Experience and evaluation of each competition event that followed are prioritized, so lessons can be learned for others. Students take the opportunity to channel their talents and interests to pursue these coaching activities into three fields of achievement, namely Learning Media, Muballigh /Da'i, and Qiraatul Qutub. “Alhamdulillah, in 2024 the field of achievement coaching has increased from the previous year, there are three fields, namely Learning Media, Muballigh, and Qiraatul Qutub,” said the head of the Islamic Religious Education program.
Of all the various fields of achievement, 33 students are interested in participating in these activities, with details of 5 students participating in coaching to become preachers, 13 students pursuing learning media, and 15 students enjoying Qiraatul Qutub. Three coaches supervised the coaching process for every field. The coaches are recruited and determined based on the principle of a combination of practitioners and lecturers who have expertise in assisting student competitions. The coaches were Ali Hasan Assidiqi (preaching), Ibda Wahyu Setiana (learning media), and Dini Sadiah (Qiraatul Qutub). The Islamic Religious lecturers who participated in the training were Dr. H. Sudirman, M.Ag., Faridatun Nikmah, M.Pd, Ainatul Mardiyah, S.Kom, Dr. Laily Nur Arifa, M.Pd.I, Abdul Ghaffar, M.Th.I., and Benny Afwadzi, M.Hum.

In the introductory session, the head of the Islamic Religious Education Program conveyed the importance of seriousness and commitment together to participate in this activity totality. High intention and enthusiasm must be maintained continuously to emerge "asah, asih, and asuh" without extinguishing. Because, please always look for information on competition events so that you immediately have new challenges and serve as a form of responsibility for the existence of this achievement coaching. “The faculty fully supports every student who will participate in competitions, both national and international levels,” said Mujtahid. Congratulations on practicing yourself seriously and making your achievements for this beloved ulul albab campus. Be a student who contributes to self-development particularly and to institutions in general. Hopefully, coaching will create a regeneration of superior students who are ready to make the Islamic Religious Education Program of FITK UIN Malang proud. [mj]
