Profile of Islamic Religious Education Program

The Islamic Religious Education Program (PAI) was the first study program. It was the forerunner of the establishment of UIN Malang. UIN Malang's Islamic Religious Education Program is 62 years old, established in 1961 up to now in the year 2023, the Islamic Religious Education Program has delivered students to become scholars and contribute to society, nation, and state as teachers of Islamic Religious Education in educational institutions, being a community leader; caretaker of an Islamic boarding school; founder and manager of schools and madrasah as well as universities; playing a role in the government bureaucracy, starting to become a Regent/Mayor, ambassador in several other countries to become a Minister; and playing a role in educating the nation's children to become teachers and educators in formal and non formal institutions. Many achievements have been made by Islamic Religious Education Program always obtaining Excellent Accreditation from the Education Self Accreditation Institute (AMDIK), obtaining ISO International Standard ISO 21001: 2018, and becoming the best study program at UIN Malang based on the results of the assessment of the Quality Assurance Institute in 2017, the study program with the most outstanding students in 2023, Best study program with the category of Islamic Religious Education Studies Program with the Best International Networking in 2024. The Islamic Religious Education Program continues to improve its quality and achievements to become an internationally reputable study program by developing institutional and academic through international accreditation programs and collaborating with other international institutions in education and Islamic scientific development.

Banyak Capaian yang telah diraih Prodi PAI diantaranya selalu memperolah Akreditasi UNGGUL dari Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Kependidikan (AMDIK),  memperoleh Standar Internasional ISO ISO 21001:2018 dan menjadi Prodi terbaik di Lingkungan UIN Malang berdasarkan hasil assesmen penilaian dari Lembaga Jaminan Mutu tahun 2017, prodi dengan mahasiswa berprestasi terbanyak tahun 2023, Best prodi dengan kategori Islamic Religious Education Studies Program with the Best International Networking tahun 2024.

Program Studi PAI terus berusaha meningkatkan kualitas dan prestasinya menjadi program studi bereputasi Internasional dengan mengembangkan kelembagaan dan akademik melalui program akreditasi Internasional dan bekerjasama dengan lembaga-lembaga internasional dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengembangan keilmuan Islam.
